Avano Capital — neuromodulation infrastructure
Building global neuromodulation infrastructure across real estate, artificial intelligence and neurotech hardware.
A fund dedicated to the global development of neuromodulation infrastructure — scaled inside our own clinics, so that innovation keeps paying for itself.
Three entities, one loop
Five allocations, one thesis
Separating asset classes keeps risk contained while the fund integrates vertically across a market that is otherwise split between device makers, imaging centres, and outpatient clinics.
Real Estate
The majority of the fund is deployed into clinical real estate. Across most markets, commercial property remains inexpensive and under-occupied, and its floorplate converts to individual neuromodulation units with minimal renovation.
Bulk purchase and lease of 3-Tesla MRI and stimulation devices drives the cost per site down, which is what makes smaller markets viable rather than merely interesting.
One mechanism, many indications
Outpatient neuromodulation today treats almost exclusively neuropsychiatric disease. The clinical opportunity is considerably wider than that.
Neuropsychiatric
Twenty-one million adults in the United States live with major depressive disorder, seven million of them treatment-resistant. Depression is the indication neuromodulation has proven itself on, and the foundation everything else is built from.
Major depressive disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, suicidality
Questions we are asked most
How the fund is structured, what it backs, and how partners and clinicians work with us.
Avano will advance the global practice of medicine
We work with limited partners, clinical institutions, and neurotechnology founders building toward the same thing. If that is you, we would like to hear from you.
